This video is for all who love Ancient Egypt. You can see them gently waving good-bye to each other in these Ancient Egyptian Tomb paintings. The Treasures are from King Tut and the beautiful paintings with green accents are from Cleopatra's Tomb.

Unlike other caves at Ajanta and Ellora, Kailasa temple has a huge courtyard that is open to the sky, surrounded by a wall of galleries several stories high.
Kailasa Temple, cave #16 at Ellora, India© Courtney Milne

Kailasa Temple, cave #16 at Ellora, India
Dramatic sculptures fill the courtyard and the main temple, which is in the center.
It must have been quite a spectacular sight when it was covered with white plaster and elaborately painted.
The gigantic, 8th century Kailasa Temple at Ellora, Cave 16,
was chiselled from solid stone
Described as Cave 16, the Kailasa Temple is considered
the pinnacle of Indian rock-cut architecture
Although all of the caves at Ellora are stunning architectural feats, the Hindu Kailasa Temple is the jewel in the crown. Carved to represent Mt. Kailasa,
the home of the god Shiva in the Himalayas, it is the largest monolithic structure in the world, carved top-down from a single rock. It contains the largest cantilevered rock ceiling in the world.
Within the courtyard is the massive multi-level temple, its pyramidal form replicating the real Mount Kailasa, the Himalayan peak said to be the home of the Hindu god Siva.
The scale at which the work was undertaken is enormous. It covers twice the area of the Parthenon in Athens and is 1.5 times high, and it entailed removing 200,000 tonnes of rock. It is believed to have taken 7,000 laborers 150 years to complete the project.
The rear wall of its excavated courtyard 276 feet (84 m) 154 feet (47 m) is 100 ft (33 m) high. The temple proper is 164 feet (50 m) deep, 109 feet (33 m) wide, and 98 feet (30 m) high.
It consists of a gateway, antechamber, assembly hall, sanctuary and tower. Virtually every surface is lavishly embellished with symbols and figures from the puranas (sacred Sanskrit poems). The temple is connected to the gallery wall by a bridge.

The 48 million year old ungulate Indohyus from India. Indohyus is a close relative of whales, and the structure of its bones and chemistry of its teeth indicate that it spent much time in water. In this reconstruction, it is seen diving in a stream, much like the modern African Mousedeer does when in danger. Reconstruction by Carl Buell. (Credit: Image courtesy of Northeastern Ohio Universities Colleges of Medicine and Pharmacy)
Hans Thewissen, Ph.D., Professor of the Department of Anatomy, Northeastern Ohio Universities Colleges of Medicine and Pharmacy (NEOUCOM), has announced the discovery of the missing link between whales and their four-footed ancestors.
Scientists since Darwin have known that whales are mammals whose ancestors walked on land, and in the past 15 years, researchers led by Dr. Thewissen have identified a series of intermediate fossils documenting whale’s dramatic evolutionary transition from land to sea. But one step was missing: The identity of the land ancestors of whales.

Our history is well known as the descendants of Dragging Canoe's warriors. Dragging Canoe (c. 1738- March 1, 1792) was an American Indian war leader who led a band of young Cherokees against the United States in the American Revolutionary War.
The Chickamauga fought alongside the British in the American Revolution along with Indians from a number of other tribes.
We suffered and left hearts on the ground during the founding of America. We have a proud history connected to this country yet we are not federally recognized.
By signing our petition you will encourage Congressman Mica to support our bid for federal recognition and you will also be offering support in our effort to fulfill our destiny as the keepers of the history for all the Chickamauga Cherokee

Would you like a free and easy way to help your site reach new readers? Or let current readers know when your site's been updated? Sounds like it's feeding time. A "feed" is what everyone from bloggers to big-league website publishers use to syndicate a summary of their latest content. Syndicated content comes in many shapes and sizes: headlines, photos, video, podcasts, sports scores, stock prices, weather -- almost anything that gets updated regularly. Users subscribe to feeds via news aggregators such as My Yahoo!, which gather the user-selected feeds and display all the content in one convenient location. Subscribers can even access feeds via their mobile devices or email.
Autodiscover Your Feed
If you're unable to locate your feed through your blog host, another method you can use to discover the presence of a feed on your website or blog is Autodiscovery. To see if your website currently supports Autodiscovery, visit your site using the Yahoo! Toolbar, Internet Explorer 7, or Firefox. If the Yahoo! Toolbar has a blue "plus" sign next to the My Yahoo! button on the toolbar, or the feed icon is illuminated in the IE7 navigation bar, or Firefox has an orange box highlighted in the lower right corner, then your feed has already been detected. For more details, visit YPN Guide to Syndication FAQ: Autodiscovery.
Tips for Getting the Most Out of Your Feed
Select a meaningful title and description for your blog: Feeds that are automatically generated by blog-hosting services typically are given a title based on the name of the blog itself. However, if you have direct access to your website's feed, pay close attention to the title and description you select. A good title can markedly increase the likelihood that your feed will attract new readers. Because you can never predict how users will search for your feed, you should also provide a thoughtful, accurate, and descriptive summary. We recommend the following naming convention: "Provider: Sub-Topic." For example, a digital photography feed from Gizmodo might be titled, "Gizmodo: Digital Cameras." And for the description, try to include key topics as well as commonly known names for your site/publication (for example, both "San Francisco Chronicle" and "SFGATE").
Validate your feed:
Test to make sure your feed is properly formatted by running it through the Feed Validator.
Submit Your Feed
Once you've located your feed and made sure it's valid, you're ready to start spreading the good news. Yahoo! is one of the most heavily trafficked sites on the Web, and My Yahoo! is one of world's most popular feed readers. Why not tap into that wealth of opportunity and get your feed some new subscribers?
When users click the Add Content button on My Yahoo!, they're presented with two options: Find Content (which lets them search for syndicated content in the Yahoo! Feed Database), or Browse by Topic (which lets them explore the Browse-by-Topic Directory of feeds). Any time someone subscribes to your feed via My Yahoo!, the feed is automatically added to the Yahoo! Feed Database so if you already have a number of My Yahoo! subscribers you will not have to manually submit it for inclusion. If you have a new site, make sure your content gets the visibility it deserves and submit your feed to both options.
The Yahoo! Feed Database
To have your feed included in the Database, simply enter the URL of your feed below. Please note: Before you can add your feed to the Yahoo! Feed Database, you must sign in to My Yahoo! using your Yahoo! ID. Sign in or sign up now.
Enter the URL of your feed and add it to your My Yahoo! page and the Yahoo! Feed Database:
Be sure to click the "add" button on the following screen.
SUBMIT FEED HERE
The Yahoo! Browse-by-Topic Directory
Once your feed is in the Yahoo! Feed Database, you can also apply to have it included in the Yahoo! Browse-by-Topic Directory, which features a selection of feeds that are handpicked and categorized by Yahoo! editors. Please note: Admission to the Browse-by-Topic Directory is subject to approval by the Yahoo! editorial staff, who also reserve the right to edit all feed titles and descriptions.
Submit your feed to the Browse-by-Topic Directory.

BY AMBER HUNT
FREE PRESS STAFF WRITER
Two of Macomb County's most notorious killers -- Stephen Grant and Jennifer Kukla -- exchanged notes hidden beneath lunch trays during their overlapping time at the Macomb County Jail, the Free Press has learned.
In the notes, Grant, who is awaiting sentencing for strangling and dismembering his wife, flirts with the convicted child killer, gloats about his national notoriety and says he wishes the two could meet privately -- a suggestion punctuated with a smiley face.
"I still laugh when I remember your one note," Grant wrote in a note dated Oct. 1. "You asked 'are you scared of me?' (LOL). You are too nice to be scared of. I just wish we could arrange a rendezvous in the closet one of these days. (Smiley face.)"
The short letters were obtained Monday by the Free Press and its reporting partner, WDIV-TV Local 4. The Macomb County Prosecutor's Office is releasing the notes to the news media today. Come back to freep.com through the day to read more of them.
In the notes, which were sent back and forth over a span of several months, at least from June to October, Grant, 38, tells Kukla, 31, he started an antidepressant for anxiety and he updates her on his criminal case:
"Right now, I'm waiting to find out if they are going to admit my confession. If it stays in, I'm (expletive). If not, I might have a chance at something less than 1st."
That nearly four-hour confession was admitted and played in full for a jury during Grant's December trial. He was convicted of second-degree murder, not first-degree.
Kukla was convicted of killing daughters Alexandra, 8, and Ashley, 5. Her guilty verdict came with the caveat that she was mentally ill. She chased her girls down with a kitchen knife inside their Macomb Township trailer because, she told investigators, voices told her to do that. She stabbed both girls repeatedly in the throats.
In the notes, Grant offers sympathy: "I had no idea they were pushing 1st degree on you," he wrote. "From what I had read, I thought you had just lost it. Sorry about that."
Grant told Kukla that his celebrity insulates him from being mistreated in jail -- "I am the sheriff's re-election priority" and "if I have a black eye it will be on CNN."
Kukla turned the notes over to authorities in November, just as jury selection was beginning in Grant's trial. In a Nov. 29 interview with Macomb County Sheriff's Detectives Mark Grammatico and Jason Abro, she said she first wrote Grant pretending her name was Sarah because "everybody on our side wanted to find out what he would say about his crime or whatnot. We'd pass notes underneath the doorways and on the food court," she said.
On occasion, she ran into Grant when the two would get supplies from a closet -- which he twice references in his notes as good places to meet up.
Grant also wrote other women, including Crystal Conklin, a 27-year-old Warren woman charged with fatally beating her 2-year-old son, Sean Sowards.
In the notes, Grant told Kukla he didn't know Conklin but had heard she'd be on CNN. Soon after, he wrote to Conklin.
In one note to Conklin, he said he heard Conklin was put on lockdown and asked if she'd been "a naughty girl? (Smiley face.)"
Grant often wrote of missing his children -- he offered condolences to both Conklin and Kukla for the loss of theirs -- and he once wrote that he missed his wife, Tara, too: "She, for the last 13 years, has been the one I went to with my problems and now I don't have that person to ask for advice. (Sad face.)"
Grant repeatedly had mentioned to keep the missives private, but Kukla told investigators she'd given the notes to her father for safekeeping. At times, she said, the content made her uncomfortable enough that she considered turning them in to authorities. She handed them over when investigators told her that they heard rumors the two had corresponded.
Overall, she told detectives, she wasn't impressed with the wife killer.
"I hope he goes away for a long time," she said.
I mixed two songs and two videos. (body language unoficial)

Lewis and Clark: Mapping the West
Lewis and Clark and their Corps of Discovery have been referred to as "the writingest" group of explorers to undertake a major overland expedition. The same thing might be said of their mapmaking as some 140 maps were prepared on the trail and another 30 more were collected from Indians, fur trappers, and traders along the way.

Frankly, the snarfd staff pretty much lives on the Internets.
These weary eyes, they’ve seen a lot. But they don’t see everything, which is why we do a little happy dance whenever somebody suggests a quality link worth snarfing.
We’re looking for the strange, beautiful, and cool stuff you might forward to friends. Step right up and share with the whole class.
Submissions go here: tips@snarfd.com. But before you hit Send, here are a few things which are likely to make your link submission more successful:
Don’t use scripts or auto-notifiers. We want to hear from you, not a bot. Offenders will be blackballed. We’ll also tell your mom.
Thanks for reading and submitting. Now go get snarfd.

Linkin Park - Linkin park - what i've done lyrics
In this farewell
There is no blood
There is no alibi
'Cause I've drawn regret
From the truth
Of a thousand lies
So let mercy come
And wash away
What I've done
I'll face myself
To cross out
What I've become
Erase myself
And let go of
What I've done
Put to rest
What you thought of me
While I clean this slate
With the hands
Of uncertainty
So let mercy come
And wash away
What I've done
I'll face myself
To cross out
What I've become
Erase myself
And let go of
What I've done
For what I've done
I'll start again
And whatever thing
May come
Today this ends
I'm forgiving
What I've done
I'll face myself
To cross out
What I've become
Erase myself
And let go of
What I've done
What I've done
Forgivïng what I've doneLyrics sent by Linkinpark.

I signed this petition for I am disabled as many of you already know. What you may not fully understand is that the system fails on most levels to address the underlying issues of the disabled. The current system band aids the problems, masking the real concerns and pushing the disabled to the side to be abandoned by society. However, on Care2, we feel differently, for all life is valued. We're just as important as any other life form, so I urge you to sign this very important petition and to forward this unto your friends.
This is how I signed:
I do not suffer from this debilitating disease, but I too am disabled and know how those with disabilities are discarded so easily. The agencies that work with the disabled do not care for the welfare of the clients they work with. Too much documentation is required to receive the appropriate support. I urge you to rectify this problem and create support systems that enable and empower those whom fall to this disease and other disabling factors in life. Thank you for taking each life as a gift. For those who seek your help is your evaluation, how will you pass your evaluation helping others?
The following link provides information on this disease, please take the time to read this, would you want a significant other to be subjected to this or think of yourself coming down with this and living with this your remaining days of your life. Think about it.
Pulmonary Fibrosis
Thank you for taking action on this important petition.
I am most grateful for your support of those with disabilities, for we do matter.
God Bless,
Richard

The Apple Dashboard widget version features only a basic introductory level from the game. Buy the Mac or PC shareware version for under $10 to experience the whole banana! Banana Warehouse Released!
The two bananas who inhabit this little part of the web are thrilled to have completed our latest widget called Banana Warehouse! You're going to love this one! The goal is to move all of the yellow crates of bananas into the yellow area of the warehouse, and all the green crates of bananas to the green area using a forklift within the time limit (a generous 75 seconds we might add). Be careful not to block yourself in wheeling the crates around, but if you do, the spacebar will reset everything back to their original position ... except the timer!
Did you know that Banana warehouse is being developed into our first full shareware game for Mac and PC? You can learn more on our new Games page by clicking here. And if you want to know when we release the under $10 shareware version of Banana Warehouse you can subscribe to our brand new announcement list by clicking here!

We don't know whose child or dog this is, but here is a very cute set of photos from someone who has a very happy dog and baby.
ATTENTION ALL DOGS!!!
THE FOLLOWING ARE IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR EVERY DOG TO KNOW
Instructions for properly hugging a baby:
1. First, spot a baby.
2. Second, be sure that the object you spotted was indeed a baby by employing classic sniffing techniques. If you smell baby powder and the wonderful aroma of wet diapers this is indeed a baby.
3. Next you will need to make sure the baby is positioned properly before actually beginning the hugging process. Very gently smooth baby into the right position being very careful not to squash it.
4. The "paw slide".
Simply slide paws around baby and prepare for possible close-up.
5. Finally, if a camera is present, you will need to execute the difficult and patented "hug, smile, and lean" to achieve the best photo quality.

I Love You and Miss You So Much, my baby brother!!!!

~abolish suicide causing "antidepressants"

...Please Sign and RePost!
My Dear Brother Danny Roy Beard passed 27th July. He was prescribed what is commonly called "Black Box Warning" SSRI -"antidepressant" drug(s), that have been proven to cause hundreds of thousands of people to either turn to suicide, or live on the brink of it. The FDA has issued these "Black Box Warnings", and there are countless families losing loved ones because many Dr.'s ignore the facts and push the pills and the people through the conveyor belt. When they should be taking the time to make sure every individual is treated with the utmost care and individual well being.
My Dear Brother is the second person I have lost in the last 6 and a half yrs. due to the pharmeceutical industries and Dr.s Not doing whatever it takes to prevent Death to their "patients"- the other being our Dear Andrew Patrick Johnson, our bass player and beloved friend, who was overdosed by his Dr.'s on his pain medications.
I am currently networking to find ways that we can make sure that this NEVER happens to another family again!!! So, if anyone out there has any helpful tips, much appreciated.
In the mean time, here are a few petitions I found this a.m.
I must say that it is So sad and discusting that they apparently Do Not care about the lives, and families they are putting at risk. Not to mention the years of deaths and cover ups, fake trial and jury's etc. etc. they have been involved with.
To loose someone close to you to Death is hard.
To loose someone to suicide is one of the most horrible nightmares you could never fully understand unless you have....
If you know of anybody who is taking anti depressants or pain pills, please ask them to look at the facts online, how many people have died.
